Friday calm reading is a surprisingly good test of how naturally this chandelier fits the dining area. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

Our gathering space made the most sense once a couple of friends stopped by unexpectedly; the room worked exactly the way I hoped it would. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. The room now feels considered without feeling staged.

Around the first holiday in the new house, we added this chandelier, and it gave the space the lived-in feeling I wanted. The crystal detail was one of the reasons this version stood out to me.
